JUNIOR 2025 SUMMER CLASSES 〰️
Junior Theater Party!
Put on a play in just three weeks! In this class, young artists will play theater games, rehearse for a performance at the end of camp, and of course have lots of fun along the way. No experience necessary, just bring your loud voice and creative spirit!
Music & Instruments
Playing recorders, learning rhythms and the family of musical instruments - great course to introduce your young artists to a wind instrument and to start reading music.
Mini Model Building (Maquette)
Learn how to make miniature model structures for theater set design. Models may include, making a miniature piano, a storefront, directional signs...the sky is the limit in this creative hands-on class.
Fairy Houses
We will build fairy houses and communities using our imagination and the wonders nature provides us. In these worlds, bark might become doors, beds could be made with moss, and paths may be constructed with tiny shells.
Creatures in Clay
Craft mythical creatures from around the world--or straight from your imagination! Explore their worlds, what their lives are like, any ways they interact with each other.
Body Art
Join us for our first ever body art class for juniors! This class will be full of experimenting as we explore how to make art on our bodies and with our bodies. We will learn how to use materials on body surfaces that have texture and dimension, how to fill in spaces on our bodies and how to make art that attaches to our bodies.
Bendy Beans is a fun, energy-boosting yoga session that helps campers improve flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. As they stretch and flow, young artists learn how movement supports their focus, posture, and confidence—skills that fuel both their artistic expression and their ability to thrive during a full day of camp. A playful way to wake up the body and shake out the sillies while staying centered.

The Artist’s Book
A picture may be worth 1,000 words, but what about the words themselves? From clay tablets to modern graphic novels, the text has been accompanied and enhanced by visual language. In this class, we will explore how different mediums have historically been used to convey stories, and how we can use art to enhance narratives of our own. We dabble in scroll-making,illustrate chapbooks, and patch together zines in an attempt to find our creative voices and share the stories we love best with the world.
Hip Hop
Young artists will learn the basics of hip hop which is an expressive, energetic, and powerful dance style. They will learn fun choreography, freestyle moves, and how to groove to the beat.
Junior Musical
Young artists will Act, Sing, and Dance creating a short version of the musical, Frozen.
Move Makers!
Young artists will get to fully choreograph their own dance! We will explore all different ways of moving our bodies and they will be able to piece together all we’ve learned in a dance to perform!
"Let's Do A Play"
Young artists will memorize lines, hone their acting skills, and put on a short play.
young artists will form globes using mixed media: fabric; paper; paints; natural found objects foraged from the campus. In the process they will explore the intersections of craft, art, and design as these globes are created and personalized with a diorama depicting a vision of life they hold as meaningful.
Create Your World
Taking inspiration from the vision of our home planet as seen from space, the

Create your own shadow puppet. Create short plays for them and perform with peers in the class.

Inside Out Dance
Loosely inspired by the Inside Out movie that allows exploration and acceptance of a range of human emotion through dance.
Sew Fun!
In this class we’re going to focus on both fun and creative sewing projects that can grow your sewing skills! Young artists will get the opportunity to create all kinds of fun fabric art pieces! You can make bags, little toys and so much more!
Origami
Tailored for younger young artists, this class introduces the basics of origami in a fun and accessible way. With guided projects, designs, and having fun while exploring this timeless Japanese art form.
