SENIOR 2025 SUMMER CLASSES 〰️
LARP (Live Action Role-Playing)
Step into a world of imagination, strategy, and adventure! In this class, students create characters, write stories, and act out thrilling scenarios in a collaborative and safe environment. Emphasis is placed on creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving through immersive role-play.
LEGO Creativity Lab
Build, design, and engineer using LEGO! Students explore architecture, storytelling, and basic engineering principles while creating original structures and group projects. This class encourages imagination, collaboration, and hands-on learning through play.
Origami
Discover the art of paper folding! Students will learn traditional and modern origami techniques to create animals, shapes, and decorative designs. This class focuses on the joy of creating beautiful things from simple materials.
Body Art
An opportunity for artistic expression using the body as the instrument and the canvas. In this class we will use skin safe materials including (but not limited to) henna, body paint, and make-up. We will also explore transformation of the body through illusions such as prosthetics.
Rise and Stitch!
Come start the day using needle and thread! In this class artists will learn a handful of simple but fun looking embroidery stitches. Artists will then use these techniques and floss from every color of the rainbow to apply preprinted or individually designed patterns to their own tote bags.
Hip Hop Dance
In this Hip Hop class, young artists will learn the basics of hip hop which is an expressive, energetic, and powerful dance style. Young artists will learn fun choreography, freestyle moves, and how to groove to the beat.
Musical Theater Dance
Young artists will learn how to tell a story through dance using songs from musicals! Musical Theater dance typically blends all sorts of styles together, including jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap, and more.

Mini Model Building (Maquette)
Learn how to make miniature model structures for theater set design. Models may include, making a miniature piano, a storefront, directional signs...the sky is the limit in this creative hands-on class.
Character Design & Illustration
In Character Design and Illustration, we will learn how to craft dynamic and visually compelling characters. This class teaches the basic elements of figure drawing while also exploring how the different styles found in animation, illustration, and video games can influence the mind and tone of the story.
Art Journaling
Combining elements of collage, painting, drawing, and much more we will jump into the creative process of art journaling to express our ideas, thoughts, and feelings as we transform old books into new art!
Flute Ensemble/Group Flute Lessons:
Improve your skills on the flute regardless of level or experience. Must already have
Ballet
An introduction of classical ballet techniques for young dancers. Young artists will learn the foundations of ballet in this open level course. The class structure begins with barre exercises, then proceeds to center work including across the floor choreography. Young artists will grow their knowledge of ballet positions and terminology, as well as build strength, coordination and musicality.
Create Your World
Taking inspiration from the vision of our home planet as seen from space, the young artists will form globes using mixed media: fabric; paper; paints; natural found objects foraged from the campus. In the process they will explore the intersections of craft, art, and design as these globes are created and personalized with a diorama depicting a vision of life they hold as meaningful.
Senior Musical
Join us in performing the classic Roald Dahl story, Matilda! Young Artists will have two full class periods to learn the music, choreography, and blocking of this joyful musical. Everyone involved will get the amazing opportunity to see how a musical is rehearsed and performed on a smaller scale. There are numerous options for young artists to showcase their dance, acting, and singing skills. *This class is two periods long.*
Contemporary / Modern Dance
A practice of contemporary and modern techniques, with a focus on devising choreography. The class structure will begin with a warm-up including stretching, cardio and across the floor sequences. Young artists will then proceed to learn and create choreography, which will culminate in a group piece. This course emphasizes collaboration, creativity and community.

Musical Exploration
An Exploration of Musical Eras and Genres Through the Ages From Classical to Current Day
Instrumental Ensemble/Chamber Music:
For young artists at an intermediate or above level on his/her instrument of choice, this would be a great opportunity for them to be paired with at least one other instrumentalist to play music in an ensemble. Please include the instrument that your child plays when signing up for this course so that he/she will be assigned a musically compatible ensemble group.
Improvisation
Young artists will explore creative movement through guided improvisation. They will embody a variety of movement qualities through playful experimentation. Imaginiative prompts will draw themes such as natural elements and emotion. This class will help develop their unique dance movement.
